Founder/ Principal Photographer - Ng Ken Liong
|
Having
started photography back in
1993, Ken Liong has served as journalist, lecturer, artist, judge
and club advisor. He is a recipient of multiple awards (recently nominated for Spirit of Enterprise Awards 2011), exhibitions,
press and television appearances. When barely 19 years old,
he was sponsored and commissioned
by the Japanese
Government to photograph the paradise islands of Okinawa.
Thanks
to Bill Clinton, he missed a meeting with the Okinawa governor,
but years later he ended up being Hillary Clinton's personal
photographer
during the APEC meetings in Singapore. As
part of his work in Asia, Ken Liong has rubbed shoulders
with many heads of states, corporate bosses and celebrities. He is an
Active Member of the Professional Photographers
Association Singapore.
A self-taught
photographer, Ken Liong possesses
a bachelor degree in computer engineering with a minor in graphics
imaging. He
started off with events photography, but later found greater success
by extending into higher value-added areas such as industrial,
interior, architecture, etc, and also serving more
diverse clients worldwide.
When not with
a camera, Ken Liong enjoys analyzing financial statements as a value
investor with a long track record. Seldom found without a book, Ken
Liong is a lifelong student of
world economics, history and social sciences. Weekends and nights are
strictly reserved for playing with his two young
sons.
